Two Guys from my studio are having a head to head show this Thursday night at
Palmer Projects.
Esjay makes some great stencils - more layers than I care to imagine
for fear it gives me nightmares of blisters on the tips of my fingers. What I really
like also is his use of color - the contrasting highlights give a more abstracted view
of the normal kind of stencilling that chases down the photo real.
Anton's work comes across as a bolshevik cartoon show aired from the cold war era,
on a television with a broken vertical hold.
Esjay does Hulk.
Anton's comic book fantasies directly from a Moscow detention center.

This is the work of David Disher from Melbourne - see more of his work here.
I only just came across his work last week and it looks really cool.
he's showing at United Galleries in Darlinghurst, opening this Thursday night.
and of course Kill Pixie and Cleon Peterson at Monster Children. .
Looks like this thursday will be a big one
