Gaia is a Brooklyn and Baltimore based street artist with a background in Printmaking and Sculpture. Marrying the animal and the human form, Gaia conjures mysterious figures that carry a heavy sense of mythology and recall a past when man and nature were once united. These romantic creatures stand in relief to the urban environment as they lurk and beckon in the city’s forgotten and neglected spaces. If you find yourself in the Baltimore, DC area, please please do make it out to the Open Space Presents for its first ever Publications & Multiples Fair to coincide with the Print Fair at the BMA! The gallery will be hosting 15 different small presses / vendors to have a 2 day pop up shop. The fair will coincide with juried show "Fresh Prints" featuring 24 artists. Admission is free but bring your wallets, there will be many things for sale too good to pass up!:Saturday & Sunday March 27 - 28 : 12 pm - 11pm.
