To continue showcasing Boston based artists here on the Jux blog, I thought I'd set you guys up with some pics of Kenji Nakayama's work. I first saw Kenji's work on a door (seen above) here in Boston. It was a city scene, that looked from a far as if it were a painting, but up close I realized it was a stencil...I was kind of floored. Let me tell you, the street scene in Boston is LIMITED because things get buffed so quickly, so I was kind of exhilarated to see Kenji's work just hanging out right there on Mass ave. It's great to know Kenji's work is vibrant and alive in the Boston scene.

we are in a international group show right now at the Abrons Art Center in the lower east side called "Urban Slang 2009" curated by Lois Stavsky & Meres (5 pointz). there are a grip of street artists of high calibre, native, cernYMI, Bishop, Christian cortes, myself (spazecraft one/sohnup.com) & others from Mexico, South America, Europe, east n west coasts etc. up till middle of August, see it & you will be happy you did! big up to Kenji for the plug!
