Tonight the H&H Building exceeded all possible expectations with three fantastic shows on two floors at Gallery Four, Nudashank, and Whole Gallery.
We'll review the shows in respective opposite order from the ground up.
RADIX at the Whole features Jennifer Becker, Michael Benevento, Brent Crothers, Gina Denton, Jennie Fleming, Ellen Ann Gallup, Dawn Gavin, Doug Hansen, Ben Piwowar, and Renee Rendine.

/ the light was dark ok? cut me a break! They're gorgeous in real life, trust me.

Adjacent to Radix was the spectacular Where the Sun Don't Shine where every inch of space was concise and accounted for. Curated by Alex Epstein and Seth Adelsberger the entirely black-and-white show features work by Annie Farrar, Bart O'Reilly, Brendan Sullivan, J.M. Giordano, Jimmy Joe Roche, Henry Winfiele, Nick Van Woert, and Waltr Carpenter

Stepping out of the sterility of Nudashank's installation, we proceed upstairs to the consistently pleasing Gallery Four. On the way we're intercepted by the locally infamous Nick Karvounis who introduced me to his new studio space.

Right through his door we're finally at Protocol: Syntax Semantics featuring the work of Shaun Flynn, Brian Randolph, Hadieh Shafie, and Dan Steinhilber. The marked attention to detail an playfulness of the work in the show made for a fantastic conclusion.

Probably one of the most long winded reviews of a show in blog history, but if you had the stamina to rough it out to this point I can rest assured that you must have been thoroughly impressed. The work in these three shows was so exciting I could barely contain myself.
