Wax Poetics x Rockstar Games

Have you ever had dreams and aspirations of becoming a super-producer?  Maybe, you’re thinking you could become the next J. Dilla?  If so, you might want to check out these videos.   Wax Poetics partnered with Rockstar Games and got 5 artists; Psycho Les (of the Beatnuts), Spree Wilson, Chico Mann, K-Def, & Chin Chin, to make original tracks on the Beaterator app on a Sony PSP. The Beaterator app allows anyone who uses it to easily create mixes and craft their own beats.  This very cool app features original music and a sound-kit which includes thousands of loops and sounds produced by Rockstar and multi-platinum producer and entertainer Timbaland.

This series of short videos were produced by Wax Poetics and showcase each of the artist rocking out and creating one of a kind mixes on the Beaterator app. The videos are set against the backdrop of Brooklyn and Jersey City landmarks, classic city buildings, and small businesses.  Each of the artists get lost in a cloud of creativity and show the viewer how much fun the Beaterator can really be.   Check out these dope videos and be sure to visit the Wax Poetics website to check the magazine’s latest issue !
