Ok, well, I couldn't figure out a way to post my podcast that wouldn't also permit an illegal download. Seeing as I am not 'Juxtapoz' herself I can't really upload something illegal to her site and expect it to be all cool...so, oh well. Onward and upward.

Yea, as I said, I'm a REAL artist, not an innovative internet DJ anyway. REALLY?

I want to buy my girlfriend these shoes. She said no. They are awesome though.

She made the best Prime Rib for the Holidays though. Ugh. That was so good.  I think I'm going to buy her those shoes anyway. They are almost as good as dinner was the other night.

I want this blown-up (6ft?) image from the 1950s that was hanging above the shoes but alas, it belongs to the shoe store. Oh, well, that's cool, I'll paint it myself. Thanks anyways, shoe store. Ya'll can't stop the REAL.

This is a small detail from a really large painting I'm working on. This is near the bottom right of the work. I'm not really doing narrative paintings anymore but yea, this is a red skeleton waving a black flag atop a narwal in front of a rainbow.  Maybe not intentionally narrative but there HAZ to be a story there right? Unless the story is just about absurdity/magick/death/unicorns of the sea/etc? Is that a story? I'm not really asking you any of those questions so don't waste time answering them.

Performance art? Bandits are the new (old) thing? This is 2010 yall, after all.

I'm trying to avoid making this blog all about my art. But, I do have a solo show coming up in the beginning of 2010 and will soon start posting a few shots of the works in progress. I'm really pleased with the new direction I've been taking and am anxious to share it with everyone. I'm about to free the inner sorceress on all yall.

Have a good New Year! Let's have some fun in 2010.
