This Friday, November 6th, 2009, I will be participating in a book signing event/celebration for the SF Street Art/Mission Muralism book at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. My time slot is 7:30-8pm. Please read further for more info. Hope to see you there! Alynn.

Precita Eyes is currently working in partnership with the de Young Museum to put on a year’s worth of FREE programming and events celebrating the Mission District arts community by beginning with the launch of the book Street Art San Francisco: Mission Muralismo. The event will give fans and admirers the opportunity to have their books signed by the muralists, photographers, and writers responsible for making this project come together!

On the night of the 6th, get your Mission Muralismo book signed and enjoy all the other activities taking place at this FREE and festive event! Dance and frolic to the tunes of Dr. Loco’s Rockin’ Jalapeño Band! Be inspired by lectures and performances! There will also be hands-on activities for the kids. This event is for all ages, so please bring all your friends and family to celebrate this great accomplishment with you!

The kick-off event and book signing extravaganza will be held Friday, November 6th at the de Young from 5:30-8:45pm.
