Last night, in the Chelsea district of New York City, an opening reception took place for the 2nd Annual 13 Hour group exhibition at Last Rites Gallery. 13th Hour is Last Rites most important group show of the year as it serves as the Halloween show. Artists such as Paul Booth, Chet Zar, David Stoupakis, Shawn Barber, Kris Kuksi, Dan Quintana, Brian Viveros, Tin, Brendan Danielsson, Matthew Bone, Genevive Zacconi and many more offered up their darkest, October offerings. The show opened to a crowd of over 300 and was very well received, due to the incredible quality of work from each artist who was invited to particpate. The show is now online and all works from the show can be viewed HERE.
Opening photos from last night's event will be posted very soon. Also, don't forget that artists Craig LaRotonda and Paul Gerrard will be launching their respective solo shows at Last Rites Gallery, set to open Saturday, December 5th. Until then enjoy the work from 13th Hour! Here are a few of the pieces people were talking about last night...
