Today is a bit of a celebration, as my great great friend, Nina LaCour, has her debut book released out into the world. Hold Still was already Publishers Weekly "Pick of the Week," and she has had interviews with the SF Chronicle .  . . basically she is the shit in the young adult novel world right now. I read it, loved it. You should read it.

Buy it.

There is a nice interview with Nina at TheCitrusReport.com right now, and her website looks really good as well. (http://www.ninalacour.com).

Also, there is a some real 2010 type communication going on in the YA world, where authors create book trailers and post them on their websites and YouTube. So here is the Hold Still trailer that Amanda Krampf directed. (And Mia Nolting did the illustration above and the illustrations in the book.)
