After years of being locked up in solitude with only the voices in his head to entertain him, Greg "Craola" Simkins emerged into a world of even greater monsters than the ones under his bed. In an effort to get back to the places in his head, Greg paints. Finally giving faces to the voices and a world for them to live in.

The London book launch for a book I'm honored to be part of entitled, "Hunt and Gather: Discovering New Art" by Tina Ziegler is coming up on Saturday, March 20th from 7 - 11pm at 47 Mowlem Road, East London. I of course won't be there having my feet firmly cemented here in Los Angeles, which by the way, will be host to a special book launch/signing on Saturday, April 10th from 6pm - 8pm presented at Thinkspace Gallery in their new location at 6009 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232.

Here's a couple pages that I contributed to this amazing collection:

Be sure and check this one out if you get the chance...

I met Dave aka "Cept the Killah" at Musink this last weekend and he had this to show me:

That is a sick rendition of my "Widow in the Well" painting :
If you are in Miami, go get Tattooed by him @ Chico's the V.I.P room.located on 13255 SW 137 av suite109. call (305)969-3556. Check out more of his work here. Also as you can see, he can hook up my paintings pretty well on skin, so Floridians who have been asking for tattoos, you know where to go.
peace.
