Some of this stuff is old, but I thought I’d mention it. Here’s what’s on my radar:
Several months ago Reuters photographer Finbarr O’Reilly published a collection of astounding photos of daily life and conflict in the Congo.

In February Adbusters announced a design campaign calling for one world flag. Here are the 38 finalists.

A day before the UN Summit on climate change, the culture jamming collective the Yes Man plastered the city with a spoofed copy of the New York Post containing 38 pages of outrageous climate change…truth. Rupert Murdoch and company are reportedly not amused--which is fine, because really, fear and commitment to change (both in climate change coverage and personal action) seem to be more appropriate responses anyway. In Melbourne and now Taiwan, Chinese authorities continue to attempt to squelch free speech—even free speech of non-Chinese citizens. Doesn't the fact that the Chinese government really, really hopes you DON'T see this documentary make you really, really want to see it?
