Next Thursday, we will be lauching Calma's documentary in Porto Alegre, at Complexo Master (where our gallery Fita Tape is located). I had no time to translate the release, so Katie did it, from my facebook text, and posted here. Thanks! The event is promoted by Evoke Eyewear, Void and NOZ.ART (our cultural production company).

Here's Katie's post:
Next Thursday, September 24, 2009, the launch of the Temporal documentary based on the art and life of Stephan Doitschinoff aka Calma (Juxtapoz #102) comes to Brazil. One of the top names in Brazilian street art, Calma drew attention when he spent some time in the village of linen, in Bahia, painting several houses and a chapel to the town cemetery.
The record of the experience provides material that generated the documentary. In addition, the artist will present a commentary of his work. Event music will be provided by the band Damn Laser Vampires and Djs Punkah and Dazz le Groove. It all goes down at Complexo Master on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 7:00pm. Admission is free, and the new edition of the Void will also be launched and has an exclusive with Calma.
