Juxtapoz Blog

Armsrock (Denmark,1984-) works with drawing as a means of communication and exploration. He is a collector of fragmentary visual information and a maker of archives. Through interventions in urban space and large-scale indoor installations, he explores and challenges some of the grimmer aspects of the human condition.

We are related are happy to present our first exhibition: Armsrock, ”Zettelkasten”.

Armsrock (1984) restates the qualities of artistic drawings and transfers them into urban contexts. Known for his life-sized drawings of humans at the edges of societies, he glues his drawings on paper on buildings and walls in city environments. As observations and statements they become ephemeral part of public space and community.
The exhibition “Zettelkasten” is a site specific installation, constructed around the idea of an archive of drawings, build on observations of people in the local environment around Sankt Hans Gade, where Armsrock was born and raised.
