What is it about Legos that endears them to our innate ?
Simplicity? Shiny plastic? Form Fitting in a world that operates at times in oppositeland where nothing fits? The bits and pieces, when unconstructed and separate, seem to pose the inevitable puzzle to puzzle-solving minds the ancient question of "what can I be when realized in my wildest potential?" Not only do they exist to be assembled, but they also seemingly possess a direct line to our 8 bit imaginations of how computers were first conceived. Like the pieces of a baby kingdom not yet grown, that sits scattered and waiting for boundaries to be drawn and borders to be constructed and will be ready to join the other kingdoms which unbeknown to the silent architect are being amassed in tandem. Its a group thing, anyone can join, everyone is invited.
Legos are good for the soul. They are blocks of paint ready to be applied, they are molecules of aerosol sitting idle in a rattle can, they are math and aptitude, they are potential.
And they are a hella popular medium to make videos. Ahhhh the cop-out from writing more video. Done.
