'A Case of Goo Goo'
32cm x 40cm
I painted this yesterday onto a piece of cardboard I found at the front of the Korean
store downstairs from my studio. I love all of the crazy and colorful products - and
especially the packaging that they sell down there. This particular box has the words
'Goo Goo' printed on it to describe its contents - which I guess is some kind of cookie
or exotic Asian haircare product - who knows ..
Whatever the case, the poor blonde haired girl with the pink bow and matching stockings
is being held captive by the dominant couple - ready to do their bidding upon her,
with whatever advertising techniques they have within their repertoire. There may even
be some relationship between the packaging title and the barcode in the top right, which
I imagine to be tattooed on the blonde haired girl's buttocks ready for scanning.
I was going to put this piece onto Ebay to generate some extra money while I wait for London
to pay me (hurry the hell up) - but I ended up just posting it onto my facebook page
and someone made an offer. Facebook is now the new Ebay.
I think i'll make some more cardboard pieces. . let me know what you think about this one. .

I think ebay is the way to go though, more exposure for you and ppl can battle it our for your Art- Damm i missed out on this piece lol
Keep up the Amazingly thought provoking work Ben
Cheers
